Calling all Otak-otak lovers! Here’s something that might interest you. We received some Otak-otak products from Otak Boi and we think you might like them.
First and foremost, Otak-otak is a widely known dish in Malaysia, and specifically in Muar. The main ingredients of this reddish fish cake are fish meat and spices. While the flavours varies among different vendors, it mainly comes with a mild spiciness and soft texture.
Otak Boi’s Signature
Otak Boi’s otak-otak spiciness is appetising and acceptable for non-spicy takers. The otak-otak is soft while the taste of spices lingers in the mouth. The strong aroma is definitely hard to resist.
Other than that, it comes with a few different flavours as well. They have fish fillet, minced fish, sotong and prawn.
Variety of Choices
Other than simple otak-otak, they have a variety of other products made from otak-otak as well. For example, bao, nuggets, spring rolls and more. Each of them brings a new texture to the table, making otak-otak suitable for any craving moments. Next on my list to try would be Otak Boi’s Otak-otak pizza.
Easy to Prepare
When Otak Boi delivered the products to me, they are all frozen to keep the freshness. However, at any time when you are ready to serve them, they are extremely easy to prepare. You can either steam them or fry them. In my case where I have an air-fryer, just pop them into it and they are ready to serve in 10 minutes.
Delivery Services
Otak Boi also provides delivery services to your desired destination. For those who prefer to stay at home during this pandemic, why not give it a try. Their nuggets and spring rolls definitely serve as an amazing snack during your break time when you are working from home.
