We got our hands on satay this time! And guess what, it is originated from Ah Kow Satay (亚九美味沙爹) back in Muar. This little stall has been serving satays for almost 40 years, and it is operated by their 2nd-gen now. The good news is you can now order through SatayBoi and they can deliver to you in KL & Selangor.

The Satays
Let’s get straight into it. The satays are marinated amazingly well. Each satay is flavourful and definitely makes you crave for the next. The meat is tender and soft, suitable for satay-lovers of all ages. SatayBoi’s satays are not as spicy as other satays out there, which I prefer very much.
SatayBoi are selling chicken and pork satay. I don’t have a preference over any of it, as both are worth a try. They are priced at RM20++ for 20 sticks, which is pretty reasonable in my opinion.
There is another option where you can purchase them in grams. You can stick them the way you liked, maybe a little more on each stick? Check out the menu here.

Satay Kuah
A special mention to the Satay Kuah that comes with it. It is amazingly delicious to have it with the Satays. There is no doubt that the owner decides to have the recipe to himself because it is a gem!
Although the Satay Kuah do come along when you purchase the Satay. But there is no shame in getting additional Satay Kuah to serve with dishes you like.
Easy to Prepare
The Satays came in frozen to retain its freshness. It is fairly easy to prepare them. Just defrost them for about 15 mins and oven it for about 12 mins at 120°C. Remember to preheat the oven for 10 mins before putting them in.

Give them a try now! They are on Whatsapp, Instagram and Facebook.
